At the end of the Christmas holidays the MCSS Althengstett organized the legendary MCSS-OPEN, which is always well attended by many drivers and gets a full grid. It was a great event this year, with 127 drivers competing in various classes. So this was probably again the largest electric event in Baden-Wuerttemberg.

Modified:
After 4 years, Eric went back into the Modified class. This served to prepare him for the Euro in February (in Hrotovice). For this purpose, he joined with Shasa Lackner and Martin Strittmatter from Switzerland, as well as David Ehrbar, Jan Gehrig, and Daniel Sieber. Besides Eric, nitro driver Dominic Greiner also started. , On Saturday, we had two training runs and then the 3 heats were started for the day. Once the grip got better and the lap times went down, there were some very interesting races.

Final 1 Modified:
With a clean start-finish victory, Eric could take home this final. At the beginning, Dominic putting pressure on Eric but after he found his rhythm there was no stopping. Dominic got ahead of Martin Strittmatter for 2nd place.
Final 2 Modified:
With a lightning-fast start, Eric kept the lead and won this final with the best time to take the race win and overall victory. Dionys and Markus Wegmann secured 2nd and 3rd places, respectively.
Final 3 Modified:
Eric didnâ™t start the third main, so Dominic used this opportunity to start from first position to take the lead. He stayed there until the end of the race. Mark won 2nd place in this final, getting 3rd overall.
